From above or below, on the ramparts or inside the walls, the two fortified enclosures of Carcassonne are a marvel. The insurmountable walls and the 52 towers go around the city of Carcassonne for three kilometres.

Enter the château of the counts for the visit. You will be amazed to discover how the walls were built in the 15th century and how they were restored in the 1800s by Viollet-le-Duc. You can take the complete walk along the ramparts!
